Founded in in 2023 with our current awarding providers the University of London, BIU is the only site of higher education in the region to offer undergraduate and postgraduate study with graduation in the UK.

Welcome to British International University, the first site of higher education in the Middle East to offer direct British awards. Together with our awarding providers the University of London and the University of Surrey, BIU aims to close the gap that currently divides access to world class higher education.

BIU was established in 2023 with our first cohort of students moving from the International Foundation Programme into undergraduate studies in 2024.

We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive learning environment that prepares students for success.
